Case Study 1
A very recent case of a client who was a jeweler by profession claimed that he was duped of lakhs of rupees by forging his signature on the delivery receipt by one of his customer. After collection of his specimen and admitted signatures along with the disputed signatures analysis was carried out. The analysis revealed that it was a traced forgery as the disputed and admitted signatures exactly coincided with each other.

Case Study 2
Another case of a female client whose signature was forged by her ex-husband to sanction loans from banks. After collection of the specimen and admitted signatures of the client, thorough analysis was done.  It was clearly observed as a case of forgery with details linking successfully the ex-husband attempt to forge.

Case Study 1
At Helik a large encrypted database with fingerprints was received to verify for duplication of the impressions. The data was successfully decrypted and it was observed that there was 60% duplication in the impressions.

A different case of a lady, who was cheated on a property related issue, was received at Helik Advisory. The case details revealed that the thumb impression of the client was forged on the documents by her relatives. As a result her property was fraudulently possessed. Analysis using latest instruments revealed it to be a forged impression.

A case of a 21 year old male was handled for seeking career counseling services at HELIK Advisory Ltd. the boy had done his higher secondary education (HSC) and took admission for engineering under the influence of a thought that his father and sister was engineer. Case Study 2
A case of a female 37 years old was referred for forensic psychological evaluation by her husband for the reason of seeking help to find out about missing jewels and cash from home. Case related interview was conducted with her husband and her brother to seek details about the sequences of the events occurred. During the Psychological Evaluation, client confessed of giving away her jewels consisting of necklace, bangles, earrings, rings, chain to a person with whom she had developed an extra-marital relation which was emotional and trustworthy in nature. Further the family was suggested individual counseling session for the client to deal with feelings of guilt, betrayal, sadness and fear and Marital Counseling to help couple resolve the issue effectively

Case Study 3
A 9 year old rape victim was referred for Psychological Profiling to the Psychology Department. During the Psychological Evaluation, adequate rapport and trust was built with the client to provide her space to reveal the entire incident in sequence, so as to create a criminal profile of the rapist. The client revealed details about the way rapist had initiated a conversion with her, how she was picked up by him, taken to an isolated spot and being raped multiple times. She was further able to provide details about the physique, clothing of the rapist which were provided to the police.

TYPE OF CASE: Speaker (Voice) Identification

Case Study 1
A highly reputed business man was cheated by his fellow member’s regarding property issue and a conspiracy was carried out against him by his fellow group members. In order to catch hold of the perpetrators involved in the conspiracy, the recorded voice sample provided by the businessman was analyzed. A Speaker (voice) Identification test at HELIK Advisory Ltd. was performed to identify the voice samples which were in different languages. A language independent and text independent Speaker (Voice) Identification test including auditory and voice spectrographic method was performed. Thus the experts were successful in establishing the identity of speakers contained in the conversation as verified.  

Case Study 2
A National level sensitive case regarding a conflict over of money laundering in a scam. This case involved a famous news channel and a corporate firm. The audio-visual footages of the conversations were sent for authentication to Helik Advisory Limited. The waveform analysis & spectrographic analysis of the disputed audio-visual clip were done by using Computerized Speech Lab. (CSL) and other Standard forensic Software's & Hardware's. Analysis revealed that these audio visual recordings were authentic and were not fabricated.

Case Study 1
Experts from helik were called for investigating an arson case in one of the top organizations of Mumbai. The team investigated the entire premises of two floors which were engulfed in the fire. The crime scene was documented and photographed which is an important procedure of crime scene management. The collection and packaging of the evidences was closely monitored by the experts. Moreover, the scene was visited and studied a number of times to establish the ignition and spreading pattern of the fire. After careful and intense study the crime scene report was submitted to the organization with conclusions and results which were very useful in deciding the further line of action.

Case Study 2
8 Subjects were referred to Psychology Department for Forensic Psychological Evaluation with regard to their involvement or knowledge regarding a case of suspected fire sabotage in the organization they were working. Of the 8 subjects, 2 subjects were further referred for Polygraph Examination in the Psychology Department to check if they can provide any leads regarding this fire incident or to check if these subjects are hiding any particular information or are involved in the case. After taking written consent from the two subjects, they were taken up for Polygraph Examination and their physiological measures were recorded for the questions relevant to the case. The results indicated that one subject was found to be deceptive regarding having knowledge of the cause of the fire in the organization, while the results of the other subject indicated probable deception with regards to having smoked in the room that was the origin of the fire on the day the incident took place. These results provided leads to the investigating agency for further exploration.

Case Study 1

Handwriting analysis of a person working with a reputed organization was done 2 times over a period of 1 year. When his current HR personnel read the latest handwriting report he disagreed on certain points. Co-incidentally this person happened to be the same, whose handwriting was analyzed a year before by the experts at helik when he was working in a different organization. Upon comparing his old handwriting report with new one it showed a number of changes in his personality. Some of the major changes that were observed are mentioned below. Initially this person was very straight forward while communicating, but current report shows he has learnt better ways of communicating by using tact and diplomacy. Earlier this person was flexible to work in a team or on his own but now he shows tendency to work in a group only. A year old report states that money was a major motivator in his life that he needed plenty of it for all the creature comforts that were so important to him. But the latest analysis reveals that money is no more a primary motivator for him, but he is realistic enough to recognize that he needs it only to live life comfortably. All these notable changes were due to a tragedy that happened in his life. He lost his loved one in an accident which left its impact on his life. This impact showed changes in his behavior which was very much visible in his handwriting.

Case Study 2

In a very interesting case handwriting of few suspects were analyzed. These people were suspected of stealing valuables in their organizations. These handwritings were analyzed to get an overview of these persons personality with more emphasis on their sincerity and integrity. Upon analyzing the samples a detailed report was provided in which their every personality trait was explained. These samples were also screened for dishonesty traits and results were reported accordingly.
